Sudden food changes can cause avoidable stomach upset. Transition gradually and monitor response.
7-10 day transition template
- Days 1-3: 75% old / 25% new
- Days 4-6: 50% old / 50% new
- Days 7-8: 25% old / 75% new
- Days 9-10: 100% new if stable
Track during transition
- Stool consistency
- Appetite changes
- Gas or itching changes
Pause or slow down if symptoms worsen.
